What Are Your Grateful For?

What Are Your Grateful For?

Wow! This has been quite a year for our whole team at Caring Medical, especially having gone through a Category 5 hurricane together! But through it all, we are extremely grateful that we are safe and healthy, and homes and offices are being restored – some more than others. But progress is being made! Even as we write this, the roofs in our office complex are being replaced! We know many of you continue to go through health journeys that may not be easy. However, we find that even when going through difficulties, taking the focus off ourselves and being grateful can make a big difference in your outlook!

Ways to show gratefulness:

  • Express sincere thanks – a simple verbal thank-you goes a long way, especially these days!
  • Write a handwritten note – seemingly obsolete, we know we appreciate receiving these!
  • Acts of kindness – show appreciation through actions by helping someone with a task, run an errand, make a meal.
  • Quality time – spend time with the people you are grateful for – go for a walk, share a meal, or phone a friend!
  • Active listening – paying attention when someone speaks to you is a lost art! Listen up!
  • Share positive feedback – when you see something positive, let the other person know – nice haircut, cute top, great work, excellent article – we all love to hear these things! Be the giver!
  • Pay it forward – have you ever been on the receiving end of this? Wow! Such a great feeling. Pay for someone’s meal or gas and you will be blessed more than that person!
  • Acknowledge the little things – everyday things people do for you are much appreciated – especially within a family or work family. Verbalize your thanks for a meal prepared, laundry completed, toys put away, kitchen cleaned, office supplies put away – goes a long way!
  • Thank God for His many blessings! He loves you more than you know!

We can change the world by being kinder and more thankful to those around us. We wish you a happy Thanksgiving and a blessed time with friends and/or family.

Blessings from the Dr. and the Dietitian,
