Your symptoms aren’t in your head, they’re in your neck!

Prolo truckDear friends,

As you know, about one month ago, Southwest FL was hit with one of the largest hurricanes in history. A month later, we continue to deal with the aftermath of damage, debris, homelessness, repairs, etc. One of the items lost in the storm was the “Prolo Truck” as we liked to call it. Our license plate for the truck was “LUVH3P” – “love H3 Prolotherapy!” And we most certainly love H3 Prolotherapy, having received Prolotherapy to nearly every joint in our bodies from various sports injuries, as well as provided 1000’s of injections over the last 30 years; but we digress.

One of our fabulous patients helped us replace the truck because it is difficult to get vehicles here in Fort Myers right now. What a blessing! Since we wrapped the first truck, we thought we would wrap this one as well. However, we decided to first start with some magnet signs to try out different ways to present our message.

It is so interesting to think of a way to put into just a few words what we do here at Caring Medical. We would love your feedback on any ideas that you might have for us.

Here is what we produced – let us know what you think!

Hauser Neck Center at Caring Medical Florida: specialists in motion diagnostics, Prolotherapy, and cervical curve correction.

Your symptoms aren’t in your head, they’re in your neck!

From continuing to research the structural cause of disease, Dr. Hauser continues to uncover how cervical instability can contribute to the cause of many diseases. Many people experience negative changes in personality and so-called psychological issues. Many people see multiple providers, only to be left with no answers. Family and friends start to think they are crazy – that the symptoms are “all in your head” vs real. Thus, family, friends, and even medical providers start to doubt you.

Signs of cervical instability include popping, clicking, and grinding of the neck, neck pain, muscle spasm, muscle fatigue, and/or numbness in the arms or hands. Other symptoms may include blurred vision, head pressure, or headaches which are suggestive of intracranial hypertension. Symptoms suggestive of vagus nerve degeneration include swallowing difficulties, increased stress, emotional liability, and/or digestive problems. Many patients express symptoms of anhedonia or the inability to feel pleasure, thus, they experience reduced motivation, diminished pleasure from daily activities, social withdrawal, and/or loss of libido.

Unfortunately for most, much of this condition is related to cell phone use – the “facedown lifestyle!” Addiction to your phone or device (nomophobia or fear or anxiety about not having mobile phone connectivity) is causing massive cervical dysstructure resulting in not only mental issues, but other diseases such as digestive difficulties, tachycardia, hearing issues, vision problems, and many others.

We are passionate about getting the word out to as many people as possible: your symptoms aren’t in your head, they’re in your neck! As you know, we encourage everyone to look up, sit up, and stand up.

If you feel you need some additional help with what you can do at home to strengthen your neck and improve your posture, and overall health, please give us a call. We have a great new program available that our nurse Brad is heading up.

P.S. And we are all doing well post-hurricane-Ian. Taking one day at a time and making progress. We thank you again for your love and support, kind cards, emails, and gifts.

From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate you!

Blessings from the Dr. and the Dietitian
