Getting the Most from Your Prolotherapy TreatmentsHello friends!

We trust everyone is enjoying their summer and the start of the second half of the year 2023! Boy, does time fly!

We wanted to take a moment to encourage those of you who are actively receiving Prolotherapy treatments or who have completed your treatment program. We know that following and completing the course requires patience, diligence, and sometimes some lifestyle changes.

Success with Prolotherapy is a two-way street: you and us! We provide the treatments (Prolotherapy, PRP, and/or stem cell injections) that start the healing process and you keep the healing going!

Take care of your body to enhance the healing: Consume adequate protein, fresh vegetables, purified water, and avoid processed foods, sugar, and excessive alcohol; get restful sleep of at least 7 high quality hours per night; limit stress; follow the prescribed exercise program; maintain a positive attitude; deal with unresolved stressors; and take supplements that aid healing.

Stimulate the healing! Apply heat to treated areas; move your body with gentle range of motion, pool walking, and/or easy walking or cycling; and work back to full exercise according to your provider’s instructions.

Stay the course! You may experience dramatic improvement in strength and pain immediately post treatment, but it may seem to lessen over time. This is due to the 2-week normal healing cascade called the “window period.” Don’t give up. The average person requires 3-6 visits at monthly intervals for complete resolution (some more/some less). We encourage you to stay the course and receive treatments until you are pain-free. That’s the goal.
