What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!

Stand strongHello friends,

Some days are better than others, right? Last week we were experiencing waves of sadness, uncertainty, frustration, impatience, and loss with regards to the aftereffects of Hurricane Ian. We know in our heads that although we experienced significant loss personally and at Caring Medical, we did not lose our lives or the lives of a loved one. And for that, we are grateful – and for so much more.

The Bible says, “I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.” (Psalm 31.7).  He knows and He cares.

Even with the knowledge that God loves us, we sometimes feel the need to cry, to let it out, to just be sad. And that’s okay. God gave us emotions and the ability to feel.

Many of our wonderful patients also experienced loss from Hurricane Ian, on top of their physical health conditions that brought them here to Caring Medical in the first place. What a blessing you are to us! We know the struggles are real. Sometimes just getting up in the morning is brutal.

Life’s experiences that are difficult, that get us out of our comfort zones, that stretch us further than we thought possible, mold our characters. We are so inspired by the strength and fortitude of our patients who come to see us from all over the globe – even after having seen many different providers and having tried many different therapies without curative results. Some days are better than others. And that is okay. We understand.

We just want to encourage you to keep on keeping on. God is with you. We are here to help you. We will do everything in our power to help resolve your condition. Stand strong.

Blessings from the Dr. and Dietitian,

Dr. Hauser and Marion
