Hello friends,
Well, January 2023 is nearly complete! Time sure does go by quickly!
We wanted to give you an update on the status of Caring Medical! As most of you know, we have finished the remediation and repair of both of our buildings. We obtained a “certified dry” status after the offices were dried and dehumidified. After that was completed, the floors, drywall, and painting was completed. We have all moved back into our respective offices after sharing space for well over 3 months!
The SWFL area is coming back and we are blessed to see our northern friends and snowbirds flocking back, despite the hurricane. This area is still very beautiful and the weather is delightful! 😊
For a while we had limited space to see patients, as we functioned out of one building, but we are now operating to full capacity and so very thankful! We thank you for your patience and “pardoning our dust” through the whole process.
Our clinical manager Marylou, and her husband John, as well as the Hausers are still in the process of rebuilding their homes but are finally starting to see some progress. Other team members are still working on getting other aspects of their homes repaired as well. Some of our patients are also in the process of repairing their homes and are still displaced. We continue to pray for them!
Through trials, we become stronger. None of us hope to go through this harrowing experience again, but we are happy to report that we have made it through. We have observed God’s care for us through the whole process, experiencing big and small miracles throughout it. We take one day at a time.
We have learned valuable life lessons and shared hugs and tears with friends as well as strangers.
Life is still good.
